Mermaids is open in downtown Danville, Kentucky. They have wonderful shrimp and dazzling dessets. And they even feature grits for those who love regular Southern hospitality. They have a full wine list and, for February, they are featuring a killer Chocolate Raspberry Martini.
Regulars to the area, or students at historic Centre College, will be thrilled to know that they kept the General Store to the left of the restaurant. I love shopping there because is is so quaint: I can find unique items to gift my friends.
They are having a jewelry trunk show and wine tasting Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Come on over to Danville and have a fun, exciting night of shopping, dining, and sampling one Knob Creek Bourbon.
